TBH: Task Bar Hero snuck up on a lot of people this week. It’s a free-to-play idle RPG that lives right in your Windows taskbar, little pixel heroes going on adventures while you pretend to be productive. Simple premise, genuinely addictive, and it hit over 28,000 concurrent players within days of launching.
If you went looking for it on GeForce Now, you won’t find it. The game isn’t in NVIDIA’s catalog, which means GeForce Now subscribers are out of luck. But there’s another way to play it in the cloud: CloudDeck .
Why Isn’t TBH: Task Bar Hero on GeForce Now?
GeForce Now doesn’t automatically support every game on Steam. Publishers and developers need to opt in, and new indie titles often take time to get added, if they ever do. Nugem Studio hasn’t yet partnered with NVIDIA to bring TBH: Task Bar Hero to the platform.
There’s also the fact that GeForce Now’s catalog is curated. Not every game makes it in, and smaller indie titles are sometimes passed over entirely. The specific reason hasn’t been announced, but the result is the same: it’s not there.
What is CloudDeck?
CloudDeck gives you a full cloud PC experience. Instead of streaming a specific game, you get access to a complete environment where you can install and run pretty much anything from your Steam library, including free-to-play games like TBH: Task Bar Hero.
There’s no publisher approval process on our side. If the game is available on Steam and runs via Proton, you can play it on CloudDeck.
How to Play TBH: Task Bar Hero on CloudDeck
It’s a straightforward process. Sign up for CloudDeck , connect with Moonlight , install TBH: Task Bar Hero from Steam (it’s free), and start playing. The whole setup takes about 10 minutes.
Moonlight streams your CloudDeck session to your device, so you can run TBH on a laptop, tablet, or anything else with a screen and an internet connection.
Benefits of Playing TBH: Task Bar Hero on CloudDeck
- No local install needed: Cloud PC handles storage and processing. Your device just displays the stream.
- Flexibility: Play from any device you have around. Your CloudDeck session stays running even when you switch.
- Flat monthly price: At $19.99/month, CloudDeck works for your whole Steam library, not just one game.
Conclusion
TBH: Task Bar Hero is a fun, lightweight idle RPG that doesn’t ask much from you, or from your hardware. If it’s not on GeForce Now and you want a cloud option, CloudDeck is a straightforward alternative. Give it a try .
